HARC’s Life Is Beautiful Festival

Life Is Beautiful Festival Volunteers JPGWhen staff members of HARC’s Festival Planning Committee were asked what they wanted the community to know about people with disabilities, they answered that “life is beautiful” for the individuals who receive services thanks to HARC, families, friends, and the community. To celebrate with the community each year, HARC hosts a Life Is Beautiful Festival in July at 129 East Albany Street in Herkimer. Events include “A Walk in My Shoes” Disabilities Awareness Walk, a “Cruise to Care” Poker Run, food, raffles, entertainment throughout the day, and more.
