Life Is Beautiful Festival Volunteers JPGWhen staff members of the Herkimer ARC’s Festival Planning Committee were asked what they wanted the community to know about people with disabilities, they answered that “life is beautiful” for the individuals who receive services thanks to HARC, families, friends, and the community. To celebrate with the community each year, the Herkimer ARC hosts a Life Is Beautiful Festival. Events include “A Walk in My Shoes” Disabilities Awareness Walk, food, raffles, entertainment throughout the day, and more.
