Hand over your keys and the title to the vehicle you want to donate and we’ll handle the rest! It’s as easy as that to donate your car, truck, boats, RV, or other vehicles, regardless of condition, to the Herkimer ARC. The details are being handled by a new vehicle donation program administered by The Arc of the United States. The Herkimer ARC will receive 90% of the net proceeds when you identify us as the intended beneficiary! Proceeds will be used to fund meaningful programs for people with disabilities.
Once you call or email to have your vehicle donated, a local towing company will be in contact with you to arrange a pickup. Normally, vehicles are picked up within one to two business days. You will need to provide the title and keys to the tow truck driver. A towing receipt will be left with you. Once The Arc of the United States has received notification of the pickup, a formal donation receipt will be sent to you.
